You may be asking . . . what is the NEWDJA all about and where did it come from? First of all, read our Vision Statement.

Vision Statement: To provide a community and forum for disc jockey entertainers of Northeast Wisconsin to discuss and advance professionalism, fair practices and customer satisfaction within our industry. To educate related service providers and vendors about our efforts and partner with them for the benefit of our customers. To provide a resource for consumers to make educated decisions in selecting their disc jockey entertainer.

Now that you have an idea of what the purpose is, let me explain where the NEWDJA came from.

The idea to start the Alliance came from Matt Jackering of Fun Factory Entertainment. The original idea was to create a group of fellow DJs who could share referrals, talk and share stories through networking and work to improve the mobile entertainment industry through consumer and vendor education.

After over a year of tossing the idea around, the NEWDJA was formed. There are more benefits and services than what was originally planned, but the more we thought about the idea, the more we wanted to do with it.

Special thanks go out to Jeff of Class Act DJ, Eric of Dance Factory, Mike of Advanced Entertainment and Kyle of Audio Excellence for their help in launching the Alliance.
