Fun Factory has spent considerable time to assemble the equipment, software and talent to be able to create video slide shows that look professional and are easy to use and display.

How to do it right.
Many times we have witnessed a do-it-yourself slide show, usually in PowerPoint and played from a computer. Although there is nothing wrong with that, wouldn't it be better to show a quality production that pulls on your heart strings?

The following are the most common traits of a 'homemade' slide show:

• The most obvious is the clicking around on the computer with the projector running showing the guests your desktop waiting for the files to be opened and started.
• During the slide show, the computer may "hang" or worse yet, many people forget to disable the screen saver which comes on in the middle of the show.
• Bad sound levels and transitions. Many times songs are too long and are cut off abruptly with the following song either too soft or too loud.
• Ground hum in the audio and/or a lag time in the processing of the slides. Processing issues are usually caused from the over use of complex trasitions. Not only can it slow down the show, but guest become uncomfortable with too many complex transitions. The brain just can't take it and the person will feel dizzy.

The best way to display a slide show is with subtle effects and run off a DVD, preferably with a menu screen that will display before the show starts.

Most importantly, we offer an easy solution to creating a slide show. Just give us the photos either by prints or in digital format and we take it from there. You can choose your music or have us choose for you. In the end, you will have two copies on DVD and all the work done for you.

Once again we have your covered. We have the L.C.D. projector, screen and portable DVD player ready to go and can have it set up before the guests even arrive. We will even make the announcement and operate the equipment so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.

Below is an example of a do-it-yourself PowerPoint slide show and the same slide show done by Fun Factory. We were given this slideshow two days before the wedding and just had to spruce it up. The bride chose the music and had no idea that we re-did the movie until the night of the wedding. We even created a DVD complete with an animated menu screen and chapter markers.
